WHAT IS A CHEMICAL PEEL?

Chemical peels utilize concentrated lactic, glycolic, or salicylic acid, as well as niacin. Each peel removes dry and dead skin, revealing more vibrant skin cells underneath. Your specialist to determine the depth of your peel for optimal results during an evaluation of your skin concerns.

HOW IT WORKS

After deciding on the best chemical peel option for your face to appear more youthful and revived, your skin will be cleaned thoroughly. Second, one or more chemical solutions will be applied to target areas. Controlled wounds take place as being administered, successfully letting new skin rejuvenate as a healthier layer for the best results.

BENEFITS

  • Make rough skin softer and smoother.
  • Decrease acne and blemish breakouts.
  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Improve hyperpigmentation and sun damage, evening out skin tone.
  • Diminish the appearance of superficial scars, such as acne scars.

RESULTS

Some peels may cause mild redness, crusting, and stinging for a few days after your procedure, but no downtime is necessary. After a few days, all conditions will subside and your true beauty will be revealed.

A Variety of Options

Chemical peels are broadly defined by the depth of damage in the skin that they produce. They are categorized as superficial, medium, and deep. Superficial peels do not damage skin below the epidermis, the most superficial skin layer. Medium peels may reach to the superficial layer of the dermis, the deeper layer of the skin. Deep peels generally reach the deeper layers of the dermis. The depth of damage depends on the nature and concentration of the chemicals in the peeling solution and the length of time they are permitted to interact with the skin.
