Procedure

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is infiltrated into the subcutaneous tissue through a tiny 30G needle (0.3mm in diameter). From the injection point, the carbon dioxide diffuses easily into adjacent tissues.
This procedure is virtually painless; you may feel a little ache sensation for a few seconds. Redness and swelling disappear in 30 minutes. Usually, 6-12 treatments are needed, spaced one or two weeks apart. Carboxytherapy takes about 15-30 minutes depending on the area treated.
Results
The results of carboxytherapy may vary for patients. The number of sessions for carboxytherapy depends upon each individual condition being treated. For cellulite, six to 10 sessions are usually necessary. For stretch marks, four to six sessions are required.
